Meet Carla
Some things are just meant to be. I grew up immersed in my parent’s plumbing business, often spending my weekends helping in the office, doing everything from dispatch to organizing files. So it really should come as no surprise that I would become a Master’s Level Human Resources and Labor Relations specialist!
After 13 years in HR, I knew something was missing. I pursued and received certification as a Certified Co-Active Coach and went on to provide coaching to individuals and businesses. A decade later, I followed my heart back to school to become a clinical mental health counselor. But why let all of that wisdom and knowledge go to waste? I have integrated my HR knowledge and experience into my therapy practice, helping my clients with their work and career issues. The next logical step is to help fellow therapists with their private practices.
This is my vision for The Mental Health Executive. I love helping other leaders build their practices and achieve their business objectives, whether they are single practitioners or large groups.
I can help you:
Envision what success looks like
Identify suitable and sustainable goals
Develop referring relationships
Attract the right clients and team members
Develop your leadership capabilities
Advise on business systems
Advise on HR and labor relations
I can help you to stretch and achieve the desired level of performance, career satisfaction and goal attainment. My experience and accountability for fiscal results and people leadership coupled with my formal training and applied leadership in Human Resources as well as a thriving group psychotherapy practice, enables me to build strong relationships based on trust and credibility with my clients.
I was drawn to the co-active coaching model for its holistic, individual approach towards helping others live out their full potential. I promise to bring a dynamic, approachable communication style and fun, energetic partnership to our work together!
My business consultation clients have represented a number of industries and markets, including mental health, financial services, manufacturing, technology, health care, publication and retail organizations. Assignments have included one-on-one coaching and assessment, team facilitation, and training and development programs.
